On August 6th, 2021 Jennifer received the diagnosis that she had stage 3 sigmoid cervical cancer after being admitted to the ER for stomach pain. Jennifer recently started new employment in June of this year and was not eligible for insurance yet. Jennifer was also turned down by her state's cost care containment system. Jennifer has been a pillar not only to her community but also to the animal community as she has fought tirelessly to raise awareness for animal cruelty and for shelter adoptions in her area.
